NAD - Randall 667

Feature set looks good. Not sure of the tones though. Be quite interested to send you a DI if you're up for it? :)

Tones probably won't change with a DI..

They definitely will; different pickups, different hands, different pick, tuning, etc.. etc... But if you're not up for it, no worries!

Where can you get one? Is it out yet or are you demoing it?

They are available. I believe Chubtone carries them at Squid music. Order from a Randall Dealer.

Thanks Reza! You're right. I do have one left. Stupid good price on this last one.

HN667D

Personally - if I don't like someone's clip in a NAD thread I keep my mouth shut.

Now those 'Hey What Do You Think of My Tone' threads are fair game :D

Sorry for all the pee in your corn flakes! LOL!

I think it sounds pretty good. I am really interested in checking one out for sure. I doubt many stores will actually keep one in stock. Have you notices whether or not you can get a lot of variance from each channel? Not just gain wise but can you dial in a few unique sounds or is it variations on a core tone?

Good job Reza. Thanks for taking the time and I am looking forward to the rest of the play though.

Which cab IR on the TNTL are you using?

And yes....HELMET!

Thx cuz, I'm using the Ownhammer v30. I believe it's a black back or something.

Like Mike and I discussed, with some well positioned, non-Chinese or NOS tubes in the preamp (input stages) and some select power tubes or a mix, this amp will really open up and come alive.

Have you tried out all the MIDI cc functions and switching?

I'm not sure what that means, but I'm gonna swing some tubes thru it very soon, you want pictures of the guts?

Yes sorry gut shots, when you have some free time after playing it of course.

hey man, just an fyi, follow mike fortin and fortin amps each on facebook...Mike periodically posts pics. last week he had some gutshots up of a meathead.

Awesome choice!!!

I did not know these were out yet but I have wanted one since I first saw the new Randall line.

6 Channels Holy Moly!!!! I liked the clip, Helmet was a good comparison. Looking fwd to the video play through. If you can, throw a boost in front and try to get the most brutal metal tone that you can
