What's the deal with them?

Are they any good?

I've read that he doesn't build the guitars but rather he assembles the guitars using parts.

Is this true?

I believe that's true: he buys licensed Fender parts and assembles them. I played a few several years ago and was not impressed. Could have just been a poor set up at the shop, but I'd take a roadworn Fender first in a heart beat.

They are killer for the price. The one I had sounded great - Lollar pickups. Good parts. Fender Custom Shop relics are nicer IMO, but more than double the price at the very least.

That is true, but who gives a shit? He picks good wood, does great assembly, setup and relicing. The one I had played friggin' amazing. If you are in the market for a clone of an old Fender, dig the relic thing and don't want to spend Custom Shop dough, he's a great alternative.

Here's the one I had. (Gone because of other GAS and I have a great Suhr Henderson - I added the period correct logo myself, Nash doesn't do that):

Atlanta Discount music carries Nash. I have played a dozen or so of them.

They are really well assembled guitars. They do have Lollar pickups, which are the secret sauce.

I picked up a used Suhr Tele and I will be putting a Lollar bridge pup in it. My old Strat got upgraded with a set of Strat specials by Lollar.

Nash just puts together guitars that play well and feel open and resonant. For the money they are a great deal. I was going to get one when someone on here sold me the Suhr Tele for less.

The 2-tone sunburst one I posted has Lollar pups. Although I don't know what model of humbuckers they are.

The 'Maiden' looking one has a DM Super D in the bridge and a DM Hum from Hell in the neck.

I have no experience with Lollar pups. How are the humbuckers compared to the standard DiMarzio and Duncan fare?

I just found this one and I'm diggin' the fuck out of it
