Need Help Using Pedals with VH4(fixed with iso power)

So, for my benefit would someone care to explain where the ground loop was? Here is the chain again:

Power supply -> Delay -> front end of VH4 -> VH4 plugged into wall

When I lifted the ground between the pedal and the amp, why didnt that break the ground loop? Or perhaps its just a shitty power supply?

Thanks!! Papa for my raise I'll take Herbert Mk. II please.

Lifting the ground doesn't always work as it can easily introduce other noise problems because you can't use some of guitar system's normal grounding noise fighters (when you touch your strings for example). Otherwise we'd always have lifted ground cables. It was definitely your power supply. If you want noise free pedals I highly highly recommend voodoo lab pedalpower 2 or the Voodoo lab Pedal ISO 5 or whatever it's name is. Every tap is isolated.. Your ground loop was from wall to pedal to amp and the loop completed back to wall.

Glad you got it sorted bro!
