Do we know price tag on this yet?
In ‘04, my Rev 2 was $3k new. I too am bracing for a price that will seem too high and yet, completely necessary. Uggh.Do we know price tag on this yet?

Yup I gotta TJ recently and I hear some TJ similarities... But this can do way tighter and more versatile... I thought Bogner should do a rev original to way modern metal tight chugsI have a plexi mode assignable to any channel and a dedicated clean on my XTC. No dedicated clean channel on a channel switcher is just a deal breaker these days. That’s unfortunate.
It’s more like a twin jet II
I wonder if he will update the effects loops of older models to this loop if we send in our amps?
100% agreed. If it weren’t for the 1st version Uber I’d still not be a Bogner fan. I heard some guys say it’s because a lot of tubes couldn’t handle the 1st version’s high plate voltage, but who really knows why these amp makers seem to often get it right the 1st and get worse later. Each revision seemed to keep losing balls and get more civilized sounding. That being said, I’d still be very curious to try this new Uber Ultra when I canI’m going to reserve judgment until I can hear some more clips. I don’t understand why all the iterations for the Uber. It was just fine in its original inception. Those first Ubers sounded the best, imho.
Looks like he posted a video on the Metamorph and Density controls just a few minutes ago:
Density sounds like a NFB control wired in reverse. More NFB when turned up, less when turned down.
Presence, Depth and NFB are all common power amp tone shaping controls. All of them control frequencies in the NFB path. Presence removes the high highs from the NFB so they aren’t canceled out, Depth does the opposite. And NFB control adjusts the overall amount of signal going to the speaker jack/ impedance selector (OT tap). They are commonly physically grouped together as they run sequentially in the circuit. That’s exactly what I thought too. But if that’s the case, what do the “Presence” and “Depth” controls do? Hi and low cut controls at the end of the preamp you think?

I’m thinking density is a variable NFB resistor, depth is depth, presence is presence. That’s exactly what I thought too. But if that’s the case, what do the “Presence” and “Depth” controls do? Hi and low cut controls at the end of the preamp you think?
My amp has all 3 on front.I’ve just never seen an amp with all three controls. Actually I don’t think I’ve ever seen an amp with a single “total negative feedback” pot now that I think about it.
I’d just assume that if there was a total negative feedback control, then individual high and low negative feedback controls would be redundant, so the Presence and Depth controls would more likely be preamp controls, like the Presence control was in the original Uber.
But who knows at this point.
