Ive wanted a late 70's to early 80's Eagle ever since Animalize Live and Uncensored.
Minus the cheetah print.

My buddy is a BCR fanatic, I don’t think this is even half his collection. He runs the BCR FB group and is fairly tight with Moser, if anyone needed a specific question asked I’d check out that FB group as I know Moser was really active on there.

Hahaha story behind that one (I think it’s that one, anyway) this dude is the guy who gets ALL the good deals on shit, he’s walked into rehearsal with a Mesa 4x12 he snagged for $350, a Mark IV for $700 and countless guitars he got for WAY under their value. Every time I see a BCR I send it to him and 99% of the time I get a reply “import trash” or “I’m already talking to the guy!” but that particular Eagle I sent him and didn’t hear anything back until later in the night when he called me-

“Dude, how much weed do you want cuz I’m hooking you up. Do you know what you sent me? That’s a first year Eagle that’s been on my bucket list since I was a teenager“ I think he bought it for $400 but it was in ROUGH shape. He sends them off to Neil to work on and has had Dan Lawrence refinish a bunch (I think that Eagle is an example) The Eagle double neck on the bottom was burned in a fire and I think I convinced him to keep it that way instead of refinishing it because the damage is cool as fuck and doesn’t effect the playability at all. Everything was melted in it when he got it and it still smells like a fire.

That white V is fucking SICK and I don’t even like V’s, but my hands down favorite is the Rico Jr dead nuts in the middle that looks like a pointy Warrior. That guitar is one of the best playing/feeling guitars I’ve ever had my hands on.

He’s a great dude! I’ve played in two bands with him as his singer over the last 10 years. He’d definitely fit in here, he’s just not big on technology outside of his phone hahahah

I will never stray from v, unless my legs no longer work. But the shape is a good one. Took awhile for me to get there.
Course it took a long time to get to appreciate the look of a v. It comes off extreme metal, but when you play one and realize the whole neck is available..function over form. Then you start to think it looks best. At least thsts how it worked for me. I went from superstrat to v pretty quick
