New Diezel pedal

Any advice to make the pedal sound better into a power section, Peter?

Mine ends up controlling the entire volume and either sounds too loud or somewhat harsh.
 
It's is perfectly normal that the Power Amp is loud if you bypass the preamp.
 
Hmm, I guess I need to go straight into the front then. What frustrated me is that even with master very low, it was still really loud, but once it was finally quiet enough it didn't sound right.

Not the best setup I was using however.
 
I just received mine and used it yesterday in a rehearsal. OMG!!!
I enjoyed the thick & clean distortion that the VH4 is known for but without the carrying!!!
This is pretty damn close!!!
