Since the "new" modular line won't be done for a while, I'm thinking of making a small run of our "normal" dual sound modules to fill requests for them. The only ones that will NOT be available will be T/T, D/D or T/D because they use a different circuit board. Delivery time will be about 5-6 weeks. Price per module will be $375.00 (includes ground shipping in US). Only doing a small quantity so you must prepay to get in on this group. Please email me at begnater@aol.com if interested.

This is so great because it confirms that the modular line still has a future! :rawk:

I have them all except for the T/T, but a big thumbs up to the modular line!

FYI, this group of modules will have the midrange voicing switch on the front that sort of disappeared from the line long ago.

Will they still have the BRIGHT & BASS BOOST switches as well?

Yes. Not removing any existing features. Would it be cool if they we added a switch to be able to select either channel for use with Randall single channel amps or RM4? This would make it so you can use either one of the Egnater dual channel sounds with your Randall gear. You would still NOT be able to switch on both channels of the dual modules from the foot pedal or with MIDI but you could preset either one of the channels to be used.

That would be a really useful feature! It would definitely make dual-channel modules much more appealing to single-channel amp owners, which can only be good for your business too once the new modular line comes out.

I second this idea!

Third!

Hey Mr. Egnater, with the roll-out of some new modules in the future, is there any chance of a Gretchen module becoming available?

What exactly does this switch do? Is it something that can't be accomplished with the mid pot? Can it be added to modules already out in the world that don't have it? Thanks.

On some of the original modules the switch was pushed in/out to change the mid voicing. It seems most of the modifications that that are done use a 2 or 3 way mini toggle switch to have the same effect(along with internal changes of the mid circuit). If there is a push/pull pot available with the correct value, it seems like it would work. You just have to look a little closer to see if said pot is in or out! Hope this is some help.

Yes, a Gretchen module would get some people excited! I think all the new features proposed are great ideas. I'd like to see a Vengeance/Armageddon module too.

Here is a pic of my EG5 single with mid voicing switch. I think adding more features to the new stock is a step in the right direction. A toggle for channels on the dual modules is a great idea. It would definitely open the market to the vast array of Randall users.

Oh no...does that mean I have to send all my modules to egnater at some point to get the new midrange switch

I think those are all great ideas! Really pushing the modular line one step further, making it even more tweakable by the user so they can dial it in the way they'd like. Fantastic stuff!

I hope that doesn't mean the E2 isn't too far down the line ;) I've said it before, but I think a great addition to the modular line would be a lunchbox modular head, like the rebel/tweaker etc but able to fit 1 or 2 modules (like the rm20 or rm22). That'd be THE ultimate and versatile lunch box/grab and go amp ever.

I was really just thinking the mid switch and single/dual switch are for this small batch only. The "redesigned" modules will be very different but still be totally compatible with single and dual amps.

I can't wait to see what the "redesigned" modules will be. Any hints, Bruce?
