Still some places in line left but maybe not for long.

Should start shipping end of next week. You can still get in on this group if you act soon. Still may have a few available.
Thanks

I want in on this deal... I finally have my MOD50 setup all together (Thanks to Eddie Berman). So all I need is a COD and possibly 1 more additional module (That is till the new redesigned ones appear.. wink)

For those of you with modules on order....
They are built and being tested now. Sorry for the delays. Just a little overwhelmed and (bonus) we had a small sewer flood in our shop that distracted for a few days. No damage, just a big, stinky mess. Seems there's always something.........
Also, we are now sold out of this group of modules. Happened a little quicker than I expected. We have reordered parts again so we should have a new group available in about 5 weeks. Same deal as before if anyone is interested.

Are these going to be Chinese modules? Will the head be line level? The line level loop on the Mod 50 and the fact that the gainy models all sounded very similar, are partly why I sold all my modular gear.

Can't comment on the Chinese thing.

I will however take an opposing viewpoint on the line level loop. The older I get, the more I want to show up to a gig with a pedal board, amp and guitar. When I first got my Mod50, the line level loops drove me nuts! An extra rack for line level gear, the ad/da conversion, etc. It all took away from the raw tone, IMHO. But, now, Egnater has a loop gadget. I use a Pigtronix Keymaster. The line level loop allows me to send a balanced signal to my pedalboard, convert the signal to pedal level for CC, Strymon, etc with very short ts connections... Then return a balanced signal to the amp's loop. I can't discern any difference in tone doing it this way... Yes, it makes for an extra piece on the board. But, I feel that the signal quality and noise floor is better over long distances by using the balanced cables.

As for the modules, different strokes for different folks. But, I can do almost any type of gig with a Mod50 using TS6550's, VX/SL modules and a couple of pedals. It sounds killer, and can cover everything from Dusty Springfield to Muse (yes, sometimes I play Spooky and uprising in the same night). That plus the fact of the owner of the company personally addressing issues, questions, etc. is what will keep me owning Egnater modular gear for a long time. Jesus, I sound like a billboard... Hope to see you back in the club someday.

I have the exact same setup and I couldn't be happier! The keymaster allows me to run my Space and Timefactor in parallel which sounds beautiful and frees up the parallel loop on the MOD50 to be used as a boost via simple patch cable and switcher.

Sorry I just prefer my loops to be instrument level. :) I was thinking of grabbing a Randall RM50 but I think that too is line level. :(

I may have to stick with regular tube amps. Modules drove me nuts with all the choices in the end.

How do you like your Port City cabinet? I had one but sold it when my Bogner 212 and Stone Age 212 beat it out. I thought it was too bassy and dark like my Ear Candy was.

I hear you. With this level of equipment, you deserve to get the tone and features that are right for you.

I like the PC. Although, it can get boomy. I find that there is no way I can use eq/gain settings that other Mod50 owners have posted on RT. I did switch from Emi's to Scumbacks recently. The tone is noticeably tighter and more focused. One of the players that I gig with from time to time uses a XTC 20th anniversary with a Bogner 4x12. Pretty monster tone/cabinet. So, I can see how you'd be partial to a Bogner cab after trying out a few different brands.

To much gear, too little time.

Marco - Love that idea of using the parallel loop for a boost!

Does anyone know if the new Egnater amps will be out this summer? China made?
Does that mean no more American made amps from them?

Can someone please post a pic of the new Egnater modules Bruce is making? I would like to see how they look with these two new switches.

Thanks!

Just received mine!

By the way I'm not agree on the fact the gainy module sound close. I have a Erect, a EG 3/4 and now a EG5 and the difference is big between them IMHO.

Fwiw I have 2 RM50'S AND THE SERIAL LOOPS ARE GREAT. I USE EITHER AN AKAI HEADRUSH OR HARDWIRE DL8 ...BOTH PEDAL DELAYS AND THEY SOUND GREAT WITH NO TONE LOSS. THEY ARE ALSO TRU BYPASS

All parts will be in this week. If you are waiting for preordered modules, they should start shipping by Friday. All are not spoken for yet so we still have some available. Any/all models.

Those new modules look great. Man, for an all-tube amp, I cannot think of anything more versatile than a loaded M4 (other than multiple M4s).
