Fortin Price Tag: $3,299

Yeah lol not sure.

Saw it on FB, he's asking who wants one? I did reply asking the price. If he responds I'll update.

Man I wish that dude would make a badass amp for sub $2K. His stuff is just too damned expensive.

You can get the Fortin/Randall line well under that used but I feel you. Damn expensive for Fortin but they're some of the best.

Yeah I like the Randall stuff, but I want Fortin-built.

His amps are very nice but that price is INSANE. Its a 50 watt power amp, nothing special going on there. I wouldnt spend more than 1k on that.

He hasn't replied about the price? I think the $3,250 was just someone joking around.

If that is the actual price Mike is out of his mind.

Mike makes great stuff, but if we compare to the Power Station? The Power Station is a lot more than just a 50 watt power amp.

Ooooh, hahah

I have the .44 Magnum Pedal which is cool, but it would be awesome to see what Fortin would come up with if he approached a pedal-sized poweramp. This is pretty badass though, for being a 50w lunchbox poweramp.

That was NOT a real price. It was just a joke. That dude sells like $4000 amps, so I was just kidding about the price tag. I have no idea of what it will cost, and my only Fortin experience is playing a Fortin-modded Marshall once and his Randall amps. Unfortunately, his stuff is too expensive for me, so I can only envy those who own his stuff.

-maybe its completely bad ass and just brings some magic FORTIN monster mayhem that no one has ever heard before, besides, its like SAVAGERIFFER said a couple times, we don't know the price tag, are there any clips yet? I'd be very happy to give it a test run for a month or six, you know to help mike out and give him some tips on tweaking it and shit,

There's a video of Ola trying it out with his Ax8 on Fortins Facebook page. I'm not sure how to link that.
Sounds great, but I would be worried about it overheating.

I have an ISP Stealth as a portable solid state poweramp and it's amazing with the ISP Theta preamp pedal.

If you really want tubes this a great portable solution though.

I came in to say this.

I'm sure it's a great little power amp, but why on earth would you spend more than $600 on it when you could get the Fryette brand new.

Hell I bought a mint 2/90/2 used for $700.

A couple of years ago, Fortin made Dave Linsk from Overkill a pedal size, tube amp or pre-amp, I can't remember which. It sounded killer as one would expect. I couldn't find the link on YT, maybe someone here can post it.

Mike commented on that in the FB section. He said overheating is not a problem there are 4 inbuilt vents.
