I really wish Dave would start using full size EL34 tubes instead of EL84's like Marshall has done with the DSL20.
The amp does sound really good and punchy though! I have to give Dave props for that, he knows how to make El84's punch pretty hard but I just think EL34's would be better in the end........

Michael just did a comparison between the 100 and 20 and said he couldn't tell the difference the way he dialed them

In the comments he says the 100 has more highs and lows but the mids are very similar.

You'll probably really hate this one lol. I'd never heard of him before this, but yeah, he's stuff isn't great and I don't like his style of music but he is doing a comparison of three amps with bark at the moon where I queued it up here:

He always ends up at the same place.. Way too much gain, compression, and let's boost it while we're at it.
Watch his other videos. He'll run a 5150 red channel wide open and throw a boost on top and go into his Dream Theater riffs. I don't like his hairpiece either. Tonedeaf Wars. Clarity? It's a hot mess.

I was thinking.. this young guy sure has a lot of gear for a guy that looks like he doesn't make much money.. but I guess he is older than I first thought. He definitely isn't a good player for someone doing these types of vids.
