They're a little more costly than some of the other brands coming from the same factory, but I think they get shipped to their place in Australia to be inspected and setup. Haven't come across a bad one yet. I think a lot of it has to do with that step. You'll have to play mine sometime, it's a treat.
Not normally into glossy, but it's like ice skating with how smooth and flowing everything is between the neck and fretwork with the setup. Bridge pickup is a bit lo-fi thin in a weird, but good way. Almost seems ambient on it's own. Like a very light and subtle shimmering reverb. Not sure how else to explain it. I think it may be an effect of the stainless frets, tbh.
