NEW GUITAR DAY(KEN LAWRENCE EXPLORER)

ive had it for a couple days now and this guitar is a keeper, i cant say it enough, its blowing me away.
 
that guitar is the bomb. i"m not an explorer guy, but that is sweet. lots of ching though - I haven't been able to bring myself to spend that much on an ax yet. it'd have to be to my specs exactly to drop that much.

I'm not real familar with Ken's stuff. heard the name, know its HIGH end. does he solely do custom work for people? does he have "stock" models he makes...I'd imagine probably not, with an 18 month wait on custom stuff :D
 
Damn that top is hot. I love the ken Lawrence headstock too. I remember seeing James Hetfield with a natural Ken Lawrence explorer, and ever since then I've thought they are THE nicest explorers money could buy. If I had the money, I'd order one for sure.
