My bad, I'm thinking about the 25th Anniversary RG3XXV that came out in 2012. Those weren't MIJ though.. I had the blue one..

Those were nice, a friend had one and if I remember well, they were affordable. Something I like about the new Genesis is the fact that they have the Edge bridge which is probably the best in the business.

Just wait until the IBenWaylin signature guitar. Actually has good tone but also a hardwired, always on built in delay effect, set to randomly generated and alternating delay times to give you that signature out of time PLX feel.

It feels really bizarre to not offer these with maple boards and with non-matching inlays. I found a leak about the RG565 reissue and I put money aside, ready to buy. I hated the RG465 and I was hoping to get a brand new RG565. I hate when rosewood gets dry and chalky feeling.

Maybe one day they'll do a maple board. This looks infinitely better. (Even with black hardware).

Too bad they'll need a pickup change immediately. I grabbed one of these '87 Custom Horizons, and so far, I'm impressed. Duncan Custom and a Hot Rail.. The 1000 Floyd on it came rock solid. No wonky fine tuners, no issues whatsoever. It sounds nasty! Killer guitar!
