The worst of those memes is the one about open E riffs. They never played in E.
no he just doesn't have a filter & doesn't say what people want to hear. People always want to hear a sugar coated version of something rather than the truth. I LOVED Jeff.....One of the nicest people i've ever met at a show, very humble. But truth of the matter is that he was not a believer in religion & neither is Kerry so neither of them are going to say he's in the arms of our lord & living it up in heaven. Could he of used more tact & said it differently? of course he could have but that's not Kerry.Jesus! I think Kerry may have a touch of tism or at least some ‘bergers.
Except Show No Mercy and all gigs from 1981 - 1983The worst of those memes is the one about open E riffs. They never played in E.
wow so one album, fair enoughExcept Show No Mercy and all gigs from 1981 - 1983
So you're a non-metal guy who never got into Slayer, but yet you've went through their songs enough to think they have great intros but then the rest of all their songs suck?^^"Worm food".
Actually that makes me chuckle if i think about it!
Who could pull that off in his personal life
Never really got into slayer. They have some great intros, but they always fuck it up for me somehow. Well i am not really a metal guy

That sounds absurd and made-up.
Here’s a song you might likeWell that’s how i roll!
i do like some metal (i guess mainstream) but i am more in the hard rock camp i'd say (i am too soft for slayer is what i wanted to say).
well i didn’t go through there whole discography just the "most famous"??? songs.
checked again:
cult: absolute fantastic till 1:11. i like to play those riffs myself too. i turn it off as quickly as i can after that!
(heard that intro in a video clip and got to the whole song by shazam or something…)
south of heaven: great til around 1:40, ok until 1:55. i guess i hate the double bass part after that. Also the solo parts ((are a deal breaker) drums mostly).
raining blood: good until 1:05, than i am out.
bloodline ’til 2:00
i made it to the end of Seasons in the Abyss, but the song is OK/good category and not in the mind blowing cult intro category
there is more but i think you get the picture.
I think it’s the super fast passages that are killing it for me. I totally hate those, but love the slow, heavy and mighty stuff.
If you can me lead me to songs that you think i might like, based on this, i am all ears!
Your posted “spill the blood” is also in my OK/good category. Didn't know that one. But i am also not blown away like i was with the intro of "south of heaven"
obsession with gay sex haven't you .. fagwait
why are you still here?
you're supposed to be fucking your father
he is obsessed with men fucking so he is in deed a fag .. sorry if that word offends you but not my problemread that back to yourself.

This song was written during repentless sessions, so it’s a Slayer song. Mark had the demo of how to sing it and did it that way.

I'm betting Idle Hands is the best song on the album. Why else would Kerry write a song about his guitar practicing habits? The thing for me though is Repentless has been out almost 10 years now, and Slayer has been done for however many, like we couldn’t get something a little more fresh than a ten year old Slayer B side with other people playing after all that time? I don’t think this song is horrible but I’m hoping for something a little more interesting
OK, well then this one will be flipped for you. The first part is basically a RIB type feel, and then at 1:50 they go crushing power-riff style with some nice melodic solo work (usually that's Jeff tbh).Well that’s how i roll!

One more in honor of their greatness!
