New Kruse Disruption amp

Something about this is a bit fizzy and bright for my tastes - but that may be totally me. And that may be something well within the range of the gain / treble / presence controls. I absolutely love the idea of a simple, hot Rodded Plexi amp with traditional cosmetics. This is the amp I thought EVH should have commissioned and added to their line-up. Make ‘em ptp, limit production, higher price point than the mass-produced stuff. Jens is quality for sure.
 
I had him mod a quick rod one time and I ended up selling it pretty quickly. He added a mid sweep control and did a few other things to it that I just couldn't bond with. He made it a bit brighter

I agree, it just has a top end that’s a little too fizzy IMO.
Curious about his mods, there’s a local VH4 with a compression mod for sale. Guess it wasn’t a game changer since I’ve seen it up a few times in the same city.
 
😂 why don’t you guys say how you really feel. I was wondering to my ears was the recording level pegged.
 
Maybe if the gain was dialed back some it would help it fit the riff and style . I’ve never heard his stuff in person but that’s alot of gain
 
All that gain and no clarity when playing chords. Toddler on Ritalin logo. Meh.

I was mildly curious about Kruse's Ultrasonic model. Bruce Bouillet is a big inspiration to me. Haven't seen or heard anyone speak about that amp though to be honest. It is mainly just Diezel mods floating around that i've seen.

It must have just sold in the last couple of days. My wallet thanks to the buyer haha. It would’ve been a sweet addition to my Hermansson Marshall and Mesa mods though...
