New Larry Amp

That was Canon pics M.O. throughout the 80’s and that gave us Invasion U.S.A. and one or two decent Sho Kosugi, Ninja movies 😁
They would literally make a poster for a movie, sell it. Then tell one of their people to come up with a story for the poster.
Invasion USA was awesome. I think I’ve watched in 2 dozen times. Chuck was and is a bad ass. Perfect poker face.

I'm curious how these amp makes can take so long to make/ship an order. I mean, you have a supplier build the chassis and headshell for you, which shouldn't take too long. Then you buy a bunch of caps, resistors, wire, pots, etc and you just start assembling. Do some of these amp builders have a day job and busy family lives or something?

Both or they're simply:

-Scamming customers
-Lazy
-Hard on smack, blow or booze

Or who knows, maybe they're suffering from time blindness(that's a thing apparently nowdays).

The one in question just sounds like a lazy slag

I knew a mechanic where I am from. People talked about him being a wizard with foreign cars. This is before the fast and the furious generation.

Everyone wanted him working on their cars. He had some of the coolest cars parked in his garage sitting. He never touched them. After months/years of sitting, the customer would come and do the work themselves with his tools.

I went one time to help him. I was just going to try to motivate the guy to get started. He was ocd as fuck and a methhead and wouldnt let me touch his tools, and we sat reorganizing his past due bills from the past 5 years.

Another friend owned the building but was too kind to repossess. The "mechanic" kept the shop closed from 9-5 so that he wouldnt have to deal with anyone from the city or utility company. Whenever they shut off water/electric/gas, he just went back out there and turned it back on.

I suspect our siberian serpent shares a few of these traits

Or maybe he suffered from time blindness too? The customers should have been more understanding.

Those in progress build pics show relatively little progress since last posted 3 or 4 months ago. You guys have a ways to go still. I called it a long time ago, that those wouldn’t be done in 2024. All previous joking aside, I hope there are no more unforeseen delays but more concerning are the foreseen ones.

It is greatness indeed. I think it’s my favorite Chuck movie, even above Lone Wolf.

I'm still trying to figure how he even could start an amp for Techdeth when he stated he had a 3-4 year waiting list already when he took Techdeth's order and magically his amp was being built..............So what part of the original 3-4 year backlog timeline was a lie then?:dunno:

I guess manufactured rarity will drive demand. Larry better not penalize Techdeth because we are pointing out the obvious.

I'm not a fan of his behavior, but those pics don't lie. That shit looks next level flawless.

I’m sure his amps sound good. But there’s so much shit out there idk why people put up with him. Literally just seems like the rarity factor, as with many other amps people hype up to the nth degree. Having played some of these amps people hype up on the forums vs other stuff, sure they mostly all sound good. But ten times better than whatever else you could directly compare it to? Not a fuckin chance.

There are a group of guys that just want rare shit. "I want what others can't have means more than anything else" I have never truly understood it. Larrys amps sound great and I respect his build quality. But holy shit, what comes with it is beyond crazy.

Larry’s in the clear if he didn’t put a cock and balls on the chassis or nameplate somewhere. Maybe on the backplate?
Larry personally massages his sweaty testicles on each chassis he makes to sign them as his product.
