Fairly recently, after many years of indulging elsewhere, I decided to reenter the realm of the Gibson Les Paul. Over the past 6 months, I've had a Traditional, a Standard, and two Customs, all of which were very nice guitars, but there was always something about them with which I wasn't comfortable. The Standard and Traditional played and felt great, but I always prefered the look of the Custom. The LPC checked all of my boxes but they were just too damn heavy! Then, I became aware of the new LP Axcess Custom. It has most of the cosmetic appointments of the LPC, is sooo comfortable to play, and has a TOM bridge rather than the Floyd, which is my preference. At any rate, I haven't bought a new guitar for some time and, after selling my LPC, I ordered it on Monday, got it Tuesday, and now am comfortably residing in Les Paul Heaven.

Nice fiddle, but I've never liked the black plastic Gibson uses on LPCs, I think they look cooler with cream.

That's awesome! Enjoy the new axe. Very interested in those Axcess LPCs with the floyd myself.

Wow, that’s a beauty. I really dig that top, it’s got a lot of character.

Very nice ! I got an Axcess stop-tail two years ago and it became my main guitar instantly. So comfy and the LP tone is there.

Agreed! Has all the upside and none of the downside. I also Love the easy upper fret access, especially with my arthritic thumb.

Care to post a pic of yours?

Old pic, it's a bit different now, I put on some nickel PU covers. I really love that guitar. Also, the split neck PU clean tone is totally amazing, better than my strat LOL

I know it's not a particularly popular perspective, but I Love the flamey tops on LPs.

Sweet Axe. Congrats and I bet it will sound really good with a Bogner XTC...
