Few bands can touch the trailblazing virtuosity of Limp Bizkit
I will say we moshed in the halls of my dorm to “faith” and “counterfeit” breaking numerous plaster walls

Ah to be young and immortal again

To anyone concerned about the lengthy-and-distasteful exchange between a couple o' members several pages back:

I received a complaint, hence this clarification. Of all the modes of behaviour pointed to in the report, only one almost breached the rules - that of physical threats. I say "almost" because none of us here believed the lengthy commute and fisticuffs were actually going to happen. Both parties revealed through their comments that it was at least a little tongue-in-cheek. It played itself out anyway and I think it's safe to say that both they and we are over it.

The rest of the aforementioned modes concerned "bad behaviour", "insults" and "immature name calling", none of which is pretty or preferable to most but they do fall within the bounds we allow of free speech.

If someone choses to come across as an asshole it's his prerogative... as long as he doesn't post porn or issue serious threats (that we believe).

You know the age-old adage:
If you don't like what you're hearing, ignore or endure it. We're all different. Different tastes, upbringings and cultures. In an environment of free speech we're free to censor what we expose ourselves to.

FWIMBW, I'm personally glad that particular exchange died the death it deserved. Plenty of entermataining stuff in this thread and no need to go there IMHO...

Don’t diss nickel back in any way or you work at McDonald’s or something and you’re a loser.

You do a great job MM. Thanks for the work and the long rope you give all members to hang themselves in public.
This thread was entertaining until it wasn’t. 😎😎

GUISE!

Their label SIGNED Ian Thornley post Big-Wreck. Think about that for a minute. Let's do a poll:

  1. Nickelback
  2. Thornley/Big Wreck
Which do you value more?

I'll take Ian by a MILE.

Dude
Their lyrics are shit
Yes the BAND and PRODUCTION are good but i cant take anyone seriously driving around singing along to their fucking paint by numbers lyrics. Its like the shite david lee roth tracks.
DLR was a great lyric writer. I can't see how you'd even put him and Nickleback in the same sentence.

You’re the best, MM. My apologies to the forum for my part in that little shitstorm. Some things needed to be said, and said they were. I’ll try and be better than that next time…And Nickelback still fucking sucks. 🤮 ;)

Umm, Ian is a genius. Love his writing and playing. There is no comparison.

This thread was a pretty funny read

Nickelback isn’t bad at all but just over played and over hyped due to being such a big name in the mainstream

I’m not gonna even hate on LB either because I’m probably the biggest A7X fan past the age of 14 despite being into heavier music mainly
