Very neat, I've never seen any amp with square back speakers. What was the thinking behind those?

They were old Utah brand speakers, about 1976 vintage.... no idea what the engineers were thinking....lol...

I had a 70's Silverface Twin i loved but it weighed 90 lbs. Lived on the 3rd floor. Kneecaps felt like they were coming apart carry it.
I got the NOS Sylvania 6L6's from that in an EVH combo. Sound really good.

How do the tonkerlite speakers sound? I have been eyeballing the Eminence EM12 neos for a while, they sound really EV like in some of the better demos to my ears. It'd be nice to knock about 15-25lbs off one of myTwins. Something happens with combo amps once you go over about 85lbs IME. You can just barely move them at all, lol.

The funny thing is that I like the tone of the JTM45/100 more than the scooped Fender circuit. But together, it's big and bold, with lots of harmonic overtones. I am toying with doing the EJ type thing with these two amps for clean, my 2204 build for crunch and the Mark III for leads...
Pure madness, but I love it....lol..
