Hey all,

Long time RT member, mostly lurker and have traded a shit ton of gear with most of you over the years! I am releasing a record on Frontiers with Cross Country Driver. This was a project I wrote with Rob Lamothe from the Riverdogs. Here is the preview video

We have some cool guests, Mike Mangini on 3 tracks, Dug Pinnick on 3 tracks, Rhonda Smith from Prince/Jeff Beck on several, Greg Chaisson from Badlands on several, Vivian Campbell on one track, Kfigg from Extreme and Jimmy Wallace from Joe Walsh on keys. Me on guitar, Rob on vocals. Mostly used a Tom Anderson short T and I have been a long time fractal user (typically use the plexi into a greenback kinda thing). Record will be coming out in March, like it, love it or hate it I greatly appreciate the listen! It's sort an old school blues rock/hard rock kinda thing longer songs, lots of guitars. Thanks everyone!

loved "a man with no direction"....really cool stuff-thanks for sharing!

Rob Lamothe and Dug Pinnick on the same album. That is 2 of my top 5 rock singers of all time! I will definitely be buying this. Keep us posted on when it will be released please!

Hey thank you so much! HUGE fan of your guitars BTW! I hope to own one someday soon, they are right up my alley (hmmm maybe a Mick Mars vibe relic?) . I had several Strat head charvels and pointy's in the day! Of course sold them like a fool. We will have a few singles coming out and then full album in March. Dug is on 3 tracks, bass and a bunch of backup vocals and Dug scats. Dug is super cool and easy going and was a pleasure to work with and has a massive tone. SO much so I had to tailor my guitar tones around it on those songs. Rob is really great on this, he has a really interesting history, his first guitarist was Robin Crosby (Rob wrote two songs that ended up on Ratt's first record), and he was also asked to replace Ray in Badlands but decided against it (Badlands is one of my all time personal favorites). He did play on Greg Chaisson's solo record and that is how Greg ended up on this. Thank you again for the listen!
