you really need to send me that pq3..........

Looks great, tone heaven!

     How does the Mojave sound with those greenbacks?

That must be an early 77, because it's got the earlier grill cloth, that's large check instead of small check.

I haven't spent too much time with the new cab yet, but so far, it sounds great. Has more "give" in it than the VHT cabs and is pretty warm sounding with the Mojave. Sounds real good, actually.

I had to rewire it and do a few small things like that when I got it 2 days ago. I'll get some LOUD time with it this weekend. But yeah, so far it's killer. Nice and warm sounding with no real "treble beam" going on.

I didn't even check the date codes myself. I'm calling it a '77, because that's what the auction said! I should check. It may even be earlier, huh?

It looks like a 76 to me. They changed things out gradually, and there's all kinds of transition combinations. They changed from smooth to elephant tolex, Piping over the top to no piping, medium sized logo to large logo, large check cloth to small check, and you can find cabs from the 76 era with any combination of those things.

Yours has most of the later appointments, except for the grill cloth. Looking forward to hearing what you think of it with the Mojave at a show or higher levels etc.

cool

i was starting wonder when we'd get to hear about the new cab, let us know what you think when get more time with it.

the beat up strat looks good

Thanks! You should hear it. Whoa...

awesome, I just checked out kline, do they relic "my" guitar.. or do I buy an already reliced guitar from them.

Im a sucker for worn to hell and back guitars.. especially strats.

Nice Setup! Looks awesome  How are you liking the Peacemaker?

All of you posters are forgetting the TRUE secret of great tone - the Crate powerblock,
I have one as well, heck just having it in the same room with my two Peters, unleashes MASS QUANTITIES of TONE!!

Very very nice rig going on there. Bet there aren't many tones you can't get with those guitars and amps!

I've always wanted to try a Mojave and of course I love the D412s.

Ha ha! I almost put that away before snapping the pic, but decided to leave it. Right this second, I'm running out of the Mojave line out into the Intellifex, then stereo out into the PowerBlock and both D412 cabs (they're full wet in stereo.) The dry signal goes to the Marshall.

That's just for messing around at home, though. I'd never take that much crap to a gig. :)

That must sound huge in that room  :D

Nice rig shot by the way.....

Nice looking gear, you must like hauling those 412's :D

I am just trying to figure out which amp will be forsale in the next 3 months.
