That must be an early 77, because it's got the earlier grill cloth, that's large check instead of small check.
I haven't spent too much time with the new cab yet, but so far, it sounds great. Has more "give" in it than the VHT cabs and is pretty warm sounding with the Mojave. Sounds real good, actually.
I had to rewire it and do a few small things like that when I got it 2 days ago. I'll get some LOUD time with it this weekend. But yeah, so far it's killer. Nice and warm sounding with no real "treble beam" going on.
I didn't even check the date codes myself. I'm calling it a '77, because that's what the auction said! I should check. It may even be earlier, huh?

Right this second, I'm running out of the Mojave line out into the Intellifex, then stereo out into the PowerBlock and both D412 cabs (they're full wet in stereo.) The dry signal goes to the Marshall.
That's just for messing around at home, though. I'd never take that much crap to a gig.
