He's looking for a budget Schecter. There's nicer Schecters on the used market for less money, is the point I was trying to make.

That guitar has an arch top. Ewww.

The main selling point on this particular guitar is the contoured top. Him and I have been talking about it for a few days.

Im gonna try and get to GC tomorrow and see if they have one to check out. I had it in my cart and ready to check out but the $50+ tax made me second guess.

That point is valid. Anything that I have tried out of Indonesia so far from Schecter has been shite. I hope it's a cool guitar it looks cool........let us know how you like it...resale Korean Schecters are usually win...

Just got it unpacked I'll tell ya what, I was expecting this guitar to be a pile of shit TBH, but I am pleasantly surprised! I have OCD, and I'm having a hard time finding anything to gripe about really. Fit to finish is better than the Mayones I just returned Right out of the box with zero adjustments, this guitar plays extremely well. I quickly tuned it down to drop D with the stock strings and gave a quick run up and down the board and didn't find frett buzz anywhere. For $590, this guitar is a fucking steal

I'll play it for a while and report back with a NGD.

Would you say the contoured top is like an Ibanez S series, or RGA series? It looks like it gets fairly thin, but I haven't seen any side shots that show how thin it is. I think my main concern is that it would dig into my arm like the normal Schecter archtop guitars do.

It's thin and comfy, but not near as thin as an S series. Probably about like the RGA. I'll put up a NGD with some pics of the side view to give ya an idea. Cool guitar for the money.
