Supposedly they were channeling Animal Magnetism on this one. I’m not hearing it

I wish they would be peace makers and stop playing. That was weak.

I thought it was pretty decent rock for men in their 70’s. I agree about the mix being loud.

Unfortunately I hear down tuned guitars but most likely for vocals which sound good.

Sounds like an excuse for a bunch of dudes just to jam and throw some tunes together that they know are a bit subpar. Wasn't terrible, had a good start, and was sort of cool with that old school guitar harmony thing but not a fan of the over modernized production. The drums now are so distracting and overpowering. Loudness wars do not favor digital mastering though that's for sure. Just splatty top end mess. How many layers do you need on a kick and snare sheesh.

Reminds me of early scorps but more gain on the guitars. Stick with 80's tone fellas -it set the bar. Solo sounded nothing like Mathias. Rudolph??

It wasn't bad...definitely sounded like older hard rock. I REALLY loved that last single of theirs I heard "We Built This House"...now THAT was a song. As I type this, that Peacemaker song is wearing on me. Ugh...I liked it more a minute ago.

I had the misfortune of being stuck to terrestrial FM the other day at work. I heard this gem twice before lunch.

It's a fucking ad.

Eddie Trunk is a close personal friend of mine, and he said this record was recorded over Zoom during the Pandemic.
Scorps in Germany, and the Producer in the US.. All interactions were over a video screen..

Almost all “newer” music I hear is just mixed and recorded terribly in my opinion.
Just listen to some of the shit we all love from the 70’s and 80’s……the mixing on most newer music is not even in the ballpark of what they managed to do back then.
Vocals are ALWAYS too loud in the mix now. Drums are usually too loud and sound like triggered/samples.
There’s nothing wrong with recording digitally, but it still needs a set of ears and some taste to get a final product that has some vibe and feeling.

I think it's a really good song.
However, everything recorded is super compressed and the mix is so loud that it comes off as distorted. I find that I want to turn it down even tho I'm listening to it at a quiet volume..
It is not pleasing to listen to..
