What would you guys say cab wise? RL or FL USA Diezel cab with V30s?

Mills Acoustics Afterburner with v30s/GK100s in an x-pattern.

If you are set on a Diezel cab and want a FL v30 USA made cab, PM me. ;)

Nope, not set on it, just some guy locally I've been talking to has two he is selling for really cheap. I might spring for the Mills but it would be a lot more cash wise and I still have to get a new axe and a MIDI board.

And Jared, how you liking the Road King II?

ive been getting some great fat dirty sounds and some surprisingly good cleans out of it. Most mesa boogs dont have good cleans IMO but the RK2 has em. I like it bunches. I miss Herbie though.

youll have to tell me how it sounds on a good cab when you get it.

Any ideas on an Axe?

Good to hear you are liking it. Looks like I'll have a cab by the end of the week and I'll post some better impressions. I found a Mills cab for really cheap and if not I am going to check out that Diezel cab I was talking about.

I am thinking of maybe a Les Paul Custom or something, maybe a nice Strat with HH and 3 way with coil taps.

I could sell you a Diezel Columbus. ;)

If you can get the FL Diezel cab cheap locally, then do it. They are great cabs, the Mills is just better to me.

NICE! Les pauls are pretty sick. If your going to go a strat direction, you should definitely check out some G & L guitars. They are sick and made in fullerton where leo fender used to make them.

Yeah, I've heard really good things about them. There are some cool ones for sale in the classifies for not that much, considering they are brand new. I didn't know they were made in Fullerton either!

I'm still having trouble deciding RL or FL

For Herbie definitely front loaded. that's just my opinion though. most people in here use the front loaded for herbie.
