Well, also got a new SM57.
So, will need to try it out and test my old one vs the new MIM one.
Not sure if I'm getting old or it's just different than what I'm usually using, but really like the green channel.
Between my recent Charvels, Kramer and this Plexi thing, becoming a regular RT'er :p
Going spandex shopping next weekend :ROFLMAO:

I haven't tried any of the newer MIM ones, would love to find out if they are any different

green channel crunch? I had a DSL100 and 2203x both in a band setting. DSL crunch stayed right with the 2203x no problem.

Yeah crunchy. Was instantly familiar tone.
I have a 2204 as well, but lives with a family member for the time being, so can't compare any time soon.
Def happy with the amp (other than moving it around) :ROFLMAO:

We need to do a RT Spinal Tap like parody movie for the kids.
I believe Dev knows someone who knows someone whose uncle owns a 70s style chain restaurant where we can smoke.

Thanks, Japetus! ❤️
Apparently a few hundred were made for Jim Marshall's 85th Birthday?
Supposedly hand wired (haven't looked yet to confirm) with a "Plexi" channel and a "JCM800" channel with Marshall branded V30 and a Heritage speakers.
Really love the plexi channel, so far. Which probably wouldn't have thought before.
Pretty sure they’re anniversary branded DSL50’s.

That's what I was reading on a few forums today, but was also reading launch material from Marshall saying they're hand wired modified versions that were on a different assembly line with different components/values. Given how wobbly the tubes are, I don't believe that they're pcb mounted. Could be wrong. Will open it up sometime this week and find out the truth since no one seems to have posted pics or an answer from someone who owns one (that I've found). It's a shame because apparently these came with a signed history book, a build sheet, and a matching cover when they were first sold. Mine doesn't have that stuff with it. Can't find any 100% positive information as it appears that things conflict between press materials, marshall launch info, manual, and forum guessing. Def appears to be laid out that way when looking at those, though. Ultimately don't really care what it is, I'm happy!

Always take the heart shaped ones when available! ❤️

$50 worth of burgers at a bar, $6 at my house I am cheap

Happy B Day Lisa! That is a seriously great haul of goodies! Your family must really love you. 😍

Well, the kids at least have to pretend to if they want $$$
My husband is pretty hard to read even after more than two decades, so who knows? :ROFLMAO:
We are going new car shopping when he gets home soon, so it's possible.

Now I'm going to have to make you a Purple SuperDrive for your Marshall .....

Will totally commission that and a fuzz into a bitcrusher if you're down!
My daughter pretty much ended up with most of my old pedals including my SD1, so it would be perfect for this from what I am told.

I like a modded Tube Screamer into the DSL Crunch myself ...... but you can't go wrong with the Superdrive either....

what Fuzz would you want to run into it ?
