I have to say I really like these gig bags...... they feel great.....

I've worked in the industry selling bags and cases..... these things feel solid, and provide great protection and fit as well when placing your guitar in there.

Very happy with the Gig Bag and really am not happy or impressed with much Gig Bags as I feel Hard Cases are better in general but these things aren't bad and definitely check out for the price from Someone/Somewhere and Gator Cases.

Well you seem happy about your new guitar and glad you're enjoying it!
Look a bit more relaxed than your last video, as well.
Keep up that direction!
HNGD!

Thanks I'm definitely going to dig in and appreciate this one. It just rips and just love the feel, play, sound and overall response and attack.

Was expexting the Ebony but the Rosewood here is a great unexpected surprise. Glad Rosewood is an option again and happy to have gotten this one in RW and with the color combo too. It's definitely a real player ^_^

Its also Opening Day Eve in America for Baseball......

So kind of excited and happy about that too and kind of have those Opening Day vibes and looking forward to this next season.

Kind of got this one to celebrate over the past 2 seasons on the Baseball stuff and projections beating all the "experts" in the industry and all the BS too. Like an Opening Day Eve present to myself.

The Gold for me kind of represents the best or to my expectations and this is my 3rd San Dimas. Overall I just like the platform in general and for me it's sort of like the best and it can't get better hence the Gold. The Gold just signifies like the highest standard or maybe not the highest but standards I expect and in this regard yeah these really deliver to my expectations 100% ^_^

Also pulled out this strap for this guitar. It's a Well-Hung leather strap made by hand I got a while back and super comfy and they look super smart too *_*

Decided to do this take on the new San Dimas, inspiration for the lick from my fave Baseball player. Aside from Shohei as inspiration wanted to kind of have a double meaning in Shoheis name, a Japanese Shogun giving a bow to Ohtanis home country and heritage and The Show that is the game of Baseball ^_^

P.S you can adjust the video quality to HD with the little gear icon on the bottom right.

For some reason it is soooo noisy, I couldn’t properly listen to your chugs :(

Right on sorry brother, just using a Cellphone and probably didn't place it in a spot as best I could. Will probably lower volume more in the future, if you lower volume a quarter on the vid it should be better.

Also I mean for the price, a dual locking system on the bridge and nut with the Floyd design, added dual graphite rods to add to tuning stability...... with some nice Duncans and overall some really nice features like the 6 pack of tone and no load pots..... add the butter like Satin neck and rolled fingerboard and wheel at the truss rod...... compound radius at 12-16......

These things are pretty amazing and also offer some nice features not even other imports that cost 2 times as much or other boutiques offer like the Dual Graphite Rods for added tuning stability nevermind the dual locking features that come with a Floyd for even more tuning stability on top of the Dual Graphite Rods. Way more than happy with this one.

One day I may get a Charvel Select for sure but for now these are more than grin inducing and will do for the foreseable future.

Taking a look under the hood to see how thick that paint is....... and to find more Gold *_*

As suspected like with all my other Charvels...... paper thin and thin skin paint..... it's pretty much as thin as paper or no wider than a piece of hair...... just great quality all around and even better than most Fenders in this regard when it comes to the thin skin paint job.

You cant beat those MIM Charvels for the money. they just play and feel great. No shit. I had a ESP that was a killer guitar but these Charvels beats that all day. And way cheaper.
Don't you own another one?

Yeah I actually have two others in Burgundy Mist and Snow White but currently at storage as I haven't had time to play more unfortunately until relatively recently. When I get them back will post and all skin thin finishes like these too. Great quality all around.

Regarding play and feel they really nail down what a Strat or a Tele is supposed to feel like but make it SUPER and modern. I mean a lot of nice S type and T Type guitars out there but non really get that Fender feel like a Charvel does but just Super/Modern as said.

Played a lot of nice stuff now playing well over 20 years and more than half my life and it's hard to say how you can get better nvm for the money or other imports that cost more or even vs domestic stuff or boutiques. It's pretty much MIA/MIJ level quality but MIM, how they are so affordable or why they do it or can afford to....... who knows but I'm not complaining.

I remember when I picked up my first Charvel to play too. I was always a Fender guy and have some nice ones with Texas Specials or other vintage spec with Custom Shop 50s too and other stuff.

I always tried pushing it to their limit and at some point I felt that point had been reached especially after playing a DK24 in Burgundy Mist. I dint buy it but it made me rethink what was possible and what a guitar could offer. I remember I played it around NAMM 2020 right before the pandemic at GC in Orange in Orange County and that place was packed like sardines. It was nuts NAMM was popping that year.

I shit you not I was just playing it and digging in and it sounded great and a customer Straight up just bought a DK24 just like it after seeing me play it and gawking for 5-10 minutes. Didnt seem like they played but just had money to do so. All I did was ask for an SD1-W as I was there to check that out and plugged into a Fender Champ/XD on one of the British models/Marshall JCM800 models or Plexi type model or something.

I took the SD1-W home a week later but came back when lockdown restrictions relaxed a bit to check out other Super Strats like Jackson DK/Soloist and Ibanez Axions which are pretty friggin amazing IMO too. I was going to get a Jackson SL2 in Spalted Poplar or a Charvel DK24 in Burgundy Mist but they had this Burgundy Mist San Dimas in HH and I asked them to bring it down. And yeah to this day easily one of the best guitars I've ever played and came a week later and bought it at full price as IMO for all the features there wasn't a need to haggle especially as the price was 850$ without discount.

After that never looked back and got a second one not too long after in Snow White. Probably never would have considered one let alone anything with a Floyd before that but yeah once I tried them I never looked back. Given that it was around NAMM 2020 and right before the Pandemic I'm sure glad I played one by coincidence and I don't exactly remember every guitar I've played for the first time or a brand but yeah that DK24 made an impression even though I just have San Dimas guitars.
