It's due to be delivered today. Can't wait to try it out at band rehearsal tonight. I will now have a Egnater M4, Triaxis and Engl e570 in my "Rack of Doom"!!!!

Any e570 owners out there? Any tips?

"Rack O' Doom" Pics?

I have seen and got try that rack very nice indeed and congrats on the preamp. A buddy of mine had one it had gain for days.

Very nice. You should post an update after the honeymoon period. I've pondered getting one.

I've had mine for about 5-6 years now. Do yourself a favor and get the matching 850/100 poweramp. They come up second-hand once in awhile. I've tried a ton of poweramps with the E570 and nothing sounds like it paired with the 850/100.

Paired together, it's the exact same components as the Engl SE, right?

Here is a picture of the new 20 space rack I am rewiring. I had maybe 3 minutes last night to turn the Engl on and make sure it worked. I couldn't tell anything as far as tone because the layout is very confusing to me. Of course I was heavily into "Cinco De Mayo" mode so maybe that had something to do with it.

I'll give it another try tonight hopefully. Srommes, do you have any tips on setting it up?

Yep, a stereo version of it.

Here is a quick video I did. This is literally within about 10 minutes of first plugging it in:

I would edit the original post or make a new one. Most folks won't reread an old thread if they don't know they're is a vid inside.

as always dude, sounds killer.

lead 2 sounds fucking righteous for single notes!

is that the same house i visited you in back in like .... 02? looks familiar.

Thanks George. No, it's a brand new house. We just moved in last year.

Lead 2 seemed like it would be a little better for soling. Lead 1 seems to ne the "Brootz" channel.

I agree with those statements, however I also hear the potential that taking down the gain a ton could be a really cool heavy rock on that Lead 1, especially with that mid-edge engaged!
