Here is a quick video I did. This is literally within about 10 minutes of first plugging it in:
what did you use to record vid with it looks and sounds great

Liked the mid edge on tones, more cut to my ears, that low end button may be a tad over the top :D

Sounds excellent and awesome playing as always

We live in North Huntingdon. I avoid the city as much as possible. LOL. High taxes and miles of traffic jams aren't my thing.

Thank you. It was just a Panasonic SD600 camcorder. It records at 1080p but I rendered that video to 720p to make it not such a large filesize. I love the camera.

The Mega Low Punch was definitely over the top. Maybe backing down the regualrd bass knob might make it usable.

Thanks for the compliments.

Thanks dude. You really need to play through this thing. I couldn't imagine needing more in a heavy tone. Between this and my M4 I've got the best of everything I need....at least until that Diezel preamp comes out.

You're a sick sick man but I like the way you're thinking.

Wow !

For that much gain that was very quiet, very little hiss etc.

I'm not a Metal Player/Listener and often Modern Metal Tones have a "buzz" in the gain that I find annoying- I hear NONE of that in this pre- seems to be warmer than many of their Amps.

I wonder if the " Vintage" mode on this has great 60s to 80s clean to heavy Rock tones ?

And IF in this Vintage Mode all those switches do the same thing but the over all voicing is warmer/spongier.

If it does and has warm cleans - could be a great Rig for Fusion and Studio work ....?

Actually the mid gain tones, while useable, aren't that great. The Egnater absolutely kills the Engl when it comes to that. It has a good clean and the heavy channel is killer. The EG5 module from Egnater is a killer heavy tone as well but the two are voiced very differently from each other. Now I have the best of both worlds.

Cool tones! The Fault of The Flesh riff bugged the hell out of me -- I knew it was NM and from DNB but I couldn't remember the song!

haha, great vid, nice tones and playing man. I really likesd the SE EL34 I owned, definitely agree with your assessment. One thing I loved about it, it had a wicked grind in the mids for a super high gain amp, that's something I really look for nowadays. I never used the gain above 11:00, and it was still over the top, lol. Like you, didn't care as much for the mid gain stuff, but cleans and high gain were great. I never really enjoyed having the depth boost and MLP on at the same time, was just too much for me. Dialed in with either one alone though, and it's a beast. Congrats man!
