Woo-hoo! She's a beauty! Gibson got this one right. Nut's cut especially well, fit and finish perfect. It arrived with one of the driest fretboards I've seen - needed some TLC with a fret polish and conditioning. Set up was darn near perfect, out of the box. Just a tiny bit of truss rod tweak, (needed straightened a tad for my taste) and 1/4 turn lower action on the bass side of the bridge, and it was dialed right in. Sounds killer through the old Laney.

I plan to do some hardware swapping, as I don't care for the aluminum tailpiece and bridge, so I got a Tonepros bridge and Tailpiece, as well as locking tuners. One of the best guitars I've ever owned was a 2005 SG, and I sorely missed that guitar. So glad I got another, love it. Oh, this neck has more chunk to it though, feels nice!

I dig the hell out of the black leather bag! It's classy AF!

There is something about an SG. I have a 2018 Standard, and while at first I thought the pickups were too weak, they are exactly right. A little work to set up and and these guitars are just great - there is nothing quite like them.

Yep, big difference from my Fishman Moderns in my Schecter!

Put some Duncan Seth Lovers in it. Instant AC/DC and can go a lot harder surprisingly.

So freaking good looking. Definitely get locking tuners.

Very nice! An SG could be my next guitar. Only had one and it had been modded. Poorly.

Just picked up an 2020 LP Standard an the board was dry as a bone as well. Conditioned it and now it's nice and dark.
