I sold a Classic sometime ago so I could order a custom Classic to my specs.

Body: Oukume
Neck: roasted Maple with Indian Rosewood board medium SS frets. 1.687 nut, 10-14 radius, Even C slim.
Electronics: V60LP singles, SSH bridge, #3 position selects neck and bridge coils, pull tone knob to split bridge humbucker.

Central and western Africa.
Despite it being Indian Rosewood; the fingerboard almost looks like it, too.
Usually used as an alternative in acoustics in lieu of mahogany.

Looks awesome.

Reminds me of the AT300

This was the exact vibe I was going for....

I liked the tone of the AT, but there were some items that weren't to my taste. AT likes his bridge flush on the body, I like mine floating and recessed. The AT uses noiseless SC sized pups, I like traditional SC pups. Also, I've learned that the SSH when split does an awesome job of emulating a traditional strat SC pup..

It's steep, but I sold other gear to fund it. It plays amazingly. I was going to use it for my gig tonight, but I need my Modern with its 24 frets for three of the tunes in our setlist. I'll use it next Sunday after we modify our setlist slightly...
