NGD + opinion on bridge pickup

I'd second some of the choices....1st, original Dirty Fingers, 2nd, Scott's Psykes, 3rd, Duncan Custom. As Sam said you will need a noise gate for the DF. All are on the darker side but not too dark.

It's all mids, but it's just focused on the lower-mids more. The whole "muddy" lore of it is just people having it too close to the strings because they aren't used to such large protruding poles. If it is set properly, like the X2N, all those common complaints are resolved.
