I think that would be killer. The J90 I have in the soloist, may be too hot for either of these preamps. But, I do have a vintage Mighty Mite 1400 I can throw in to my 86 Jackson; I'll bet that will work well. This soloist sounds really great with the stock J90..if the pre is too much, I'll just pull it. Liking the stock setup a lot.

If I could, I would buy all these guitars but I have done that with guns some time ago and I have learned it’s impossible to shoot two at once…. Same with guitars. Old dogs learn tricks too
