Yep, Ebony board. It's not a light body, so it balances really well...

I used to have a purpleburst 84 V.
Traded it for a same year highlighter yellow xpl "explorer" which I regret trading for a run of the mill SG Standard ?
Though I feel like most people hated that guitar as I would get a lot of WTFs?
