I just hope they don't forget about us Mod users...

I do think now that everything from the non-mod series will be out there by Summer '09, they'll take care of us...(I mean people will have the Rebel 20, Rebel 30, Renegade, Tourmaster, in all their possible combinations which are a lot.)

I think, now it's our turn.

My prediction .will be E2 ,a power amp of some sort with the Tube mix and power scaling ,and Maybe a new mod of some sort.
maybe a single channel mod 20-30 with reverb , solo boost..

they seem to listen when customers make requests as evidenced by the GC line

Why single channel?

I think a dual channel "Mod-Rebel" 20 would be AWESOME!!!

Well, I for one, was introduced to Egnater via the GC stuff. I've been playing music for 14 years and guitar for 5. I read a lot; magazines, books, forums, etc. etc. and I had never heard of Mr. Bruce Egnater until my sales guy at the San Marcos GC told me about him. Now, that's a lot to say. I'm very interested in the Mod stuff. But, would I if I had never been introduced to Eggie via GC? In think not. So... you do the math.

I'm sure he meant a little rebel style head that holds one dual channel module. Basically the egnater veresion of the rm20, but hopefully with some of the new goodies (tube mix/power scaling/reverb).

Dude, we already covered this, they are NOT going to make you a Vitamin C signature Graduation Song module.

Lulz. With the rest of the posts here I thought I was on the HCAF. :D Mesa Mk1/2/3/4/5/6/7. Y'z kant I has TEH BROOTLZ?!

Por serio megusta de naranjas mucho! No AD30's though. Maybe instead of the XTC do tha Goldfingah. TOL 1/2 would be nice. And of course there is always the Rivera TBR1-SL pre. Maybe add some of the push/pull functions. A man can dream...

But will you buy a modular system because you like the GC stuff so much? Different target audiences. Those of use who play the mods, do buy the GC stuff because it's A) easy to get and B) affordable. But it doesn't usually go the other way around. When I talk to guys at GC that are playing the Rebel, they usually don't even know the mods exist. At the price point of the GC stuff, I bet Egnater's margin is lower than with the mod stuff they build here. So unless they sell a skillion Rebels, I'd bet the bread and butter is still the modular gear.

So I say, bring on a US built power amp, more mods, or even revisions on existing mods, add features to the M4, get the E2 out and how about some stomps? I know a bunch of people would jump all over an Egnater OD/Distortion pedal. So much they can do.

Dave

I think a lot of players who try or buy the GC range will be very impressed with the voicings of the amp and may indeed be curious to try the modular range as it will offer more variation and still have great amp voicings.

I'm just getting used to owning the M4 and and constantly amazed by the tones (as are customers in my guitar repair workshop where I have it)

So far the only things that I find that I might yearn for module wise are very personal items that may just be modificaions to existing modules.

Having watched the Premier Guitar video clips with RAck System's Dave Friedman & George Lynch I would love:
A module that does the Proper Brahma sound and also the Mr Scary module sound too
A module that does the Brown Eye mod (SO EVH!) and the Hairy Brown Eye

 That's my thought!!It even makes the modular stuff even better than ever to have subtle changes made to modules, that you normally would like..!!!

Dear lord, don't get me started on how awesome it would be to have a 'ModBox' with a footswitch for ChA/B and one for ON/OFF.
I know some would give the 'preamp-into-a-preamp-wouldn't-sound-good' argument, but I'd be willing to give it a try (geez, how many people use a DS-1 or TS-9 straight into an amp input?). Imagine a Fender Twin or Super (like I have) and an EG3/4 or SL2-loaded stompbox for distortion?? THAT would be the best of both worlds for me.
And the ability to load different mods? If you could keep it running at high voltage internally, I think it would sell very well, but that's one man's opinion.
