Pretty badass! I took off the pickguard, HUGE improvement. On the fence about the pickups, they're kinda harsh, but I'll spend more time tailoring the amp's EQ Saturday. Just did a set up, gonna let it settle in a couple days. Super high quality, beautiful guitar! Very pleased!

They love some volume. Also, they are not meant for super modern detuned nekro stuff, or even hyper saturated metal, consider the neck humb a better duncan 59 and the bridge sort of hotter PAF.

Very nice.

I am looking at a Banshee and they also have some USA Schecter pickups. Not the same ones obviously but was still a concern. Is nice to buy a guitar without having to mod anything.

Either way looks like a nice guitar, congrats.

Yeah, I raised the bridge pickup a touch and it warmed up. Will just take some fiddling with the EQ on the Splawn. If all else fails, I'm eyeing a zebra set of Duncans, with a Custom/59 set up, or just a Custom. The neck pickup sounds great!

I have the Classic version of the Pasa, it's less hot and more trasparent, sort of Suhr SSV thing with a lil push. Lovely pickup indeed. The Plus version is hotter and more compressed, but still fairly bright. I like it as well.

Thornbucker would look sexy in that guitar and sound killer I bet.

I don't want to take over the guy's NGD thread  Cat's Eye Pearl is the color.

Regarding the Thorns they are a bit more worn/rustic looking than the shiny ones in this Solo ii but they sound incredible. I have never played SSV+ but belive it or not I kind of compare them to the Motor City hot head with a bit more brightness.

Great color, I like it more than the regular blond one! You will love that guitar, very nice for the price.

Never had a chance to play MCPs, but they keep popping in my wishlist. Problem is I live in Eu, it's impossible to find em here and importing is not the smartest choice. That said, I've played a bunch of Suhr pickups, and while I always liked them (some more, some less), I thing Schecter's offering is just on par (being both better than BKPs btw). I'd spend some time setting up those Pasadena plus pickups honestly.

I would say similar to a 60's slim taper. Maybe a smidge flatter.

Damn, I really like this guitar. I love the natural finish back and sides.
