Jokes aside, I just use a regular pencil lead.. I sharpen the pencil so its got a nice fine point and use that to cover the inside of the nut cuts with it. seems to work good for me.

Crisco burns, coconut oil is a lot better.

Edit: Just tried it, Crisco's ok, must have been a bad batch that left that memory scar.
