Why would all of these companies, who are in it both for the money and the long haul,
risk alienating a
large market share by showing so many (using your phrase) 'non-traditional'
couples and families? And keep doing it as often as they do these days, with the situations getting
more 'non-traditional' all the time - saw a mattress commercial last night with a gay couple.
Answer is it's not a large market share. It's very small in the grand scheme. NASCAR hopping on
board was the proof positive for me that it's official - the times have changed.
This does not mean anyone is right or wrong. There's no 'sides' to this from a social standpoint.
It simply means that
sellers are catering to the largest demographics of
buyers.
You want to think that the horse is pushing the cart. That's simply not the case.
It's an easy answer.
