Any progress update to pass along? Is the first run still on track to ship by end of June?
Thanks!

although, not always a valid excuse to the end-user, but one you got to cope with these days. hopefully the Cameron spell can be broken. everything surrounding this man's amps turns into a goat fuck for some reason. i know you guys are working hard at it, though.

I have to disagree about production partners not being an excuse bro, I have ZERO interest in the amp itself but from speaking with many builders with their own lines in today's economic climate you have no clue what can happen. Custom parts can take months, chassis's punched wrong, etc. If you miss a production run you could be waiting months for the next.
The customer has to believe in who he is working with and be patient.
Plus I doubt any of the pre-orders are going on any world tours so they have time to wait.
Actually, there is a better solution. Build the amps first on your own dime and then sell them. That is what I'm doing. Then manufacturing partners, custom parts, chassis's punched wrong etc. don't matter. When you have amps, you sell them... This is just my approach...Digital Jams":z27qz0oy said:steve_k":z27qz0oy said:manufacturing partners suck when it results in a situation that is out of your control

No reason to. Most of the components were on the underside of the board.mhenson42":2n5ymj8l said:^the Cameron made CCVs were not gooped. At least the one I had wasn't. So I don't see why these would be.

The major manufacturers and most other boutique builders and modders do not feel it necessary to deface a perfectly good PCB with goop. If someone wants to copy the circuit, they'll find a way regardless.

not gooped.
I think going throught that much trouble would be time consuming and not worth it, if someone wants to see the design or clone it they will , after all these are guitar amplifiers not space stations. In fact , gooping just makes people more curious and determined to have a look where normally they could give a fuck.Digital Jams":jngnh35e said:I would encase a removable board that could be replaced by any tech with enough epoxy it would take explosives to remove, one for one swap. I would also engineer "faults" in the circuit to weed out the cocksuckers on this forum that enjoy taking pictures and showing them to "builders" and watch them fumble in the dark.
People that know anything would not have any issue with that, bank on it.
