Okay, I know the Bogner battery and it's claims seem really, really crazy(stupid,obsurd,ridiculous) but about a month ago my friend got some and swapped out the the Duracells in his delay and overdrive pedals and told me about the difference. I didn't believe him so I went to his house to hear for myself. Holy crap! there was a pretty significant difference and both batteries were new. They just sounded more "open" or "organic". We swapped them out several times and the Bogner batteries always sounded better. I still have a hard time believing it but I heard it with my own ears. He was able to hook me up with his inside source and I scored a few dozen of them. Just waiting for delivery now.

Hell, I wouldn't know. Story was 100% BS. Never even heard of Bogner batteries before this thread. On the rare occasions that I do buy 9v batteries, it's usually the Safeway/Albertsons(grocery store) brand when they are on sale. They sound fine to me though. I'm surprised there isn't an EVH 9v with the stripes.

I scored a Cameron modded 9v. This one definitely has some magic. Don't be surprised if Billy Blades gets ahold of one of these and reverse engineers this bad boy!
