Here's my story:
traded a guitar for the amp. I had played one back in september and remembered it sounded good and basically said "aw, fuck it" and went for it.
got it from UPS yesterday as I was about to leave to go to a gig. So I throw the box in my trunk hoping to be able to open it before I played.
Well, luckily we had a shit ton of time before we had to play, so I opened her up, The gig bag is, admittedly, pretty damn cute and a cool fucking idea.
There was a local music store about 2 blocks away. I had been pondering the idea of getting a boost for the TT because every example I saw on youtube (especially the Rob Chappers Vid) had a boost between the guitar and the TT.
SO, I walk in and they have a bad monkey (which I had wanted to try out anyway) turns out it was a trade in and dude was like "$20 out the door". needless to say I left with a Bad Monkey (cool little pedal but I'll talk about it another day).
So I go back to the venue, still waiting around and our equipment finally shows up, load in, do a quick sound check. i was using my buddies Peavey XXL for the show.
and, lo and behold, we have even more time before we have to start.
So of course I'm like fuck it! and hook up the TT.
Put the volume at about half way, tone about half and gain at 3 oclock. take her off stand by and up to 15 watts. and OH MY FUCKING GOD
first off, at any gain level this little beast is fucking loud and secondly it soudn GREAT
but the metal tone coming out of it with the gain at 3 oclock was amazing.
just to give you an idea of what the stuff we play sounds like...here's the myspace:

the TT handled it like a fucking champ.
and the best part? I don't think I had the volume much past 1 o clock.
so....quick recap:
1) The Tiny Terror can EASILY do metal (modern metal at that)
2) Little fucker is LOUD
3) easily the best valued tube head on the market right now
and, just to through it out there while dicking around with it today I was able to get everything from a nice bluesy sound, to a classic rock crunch and then of course more metal sounds.
don't let the lack of knobs/features deter you, it's a versatile little beast...but you only get one sound at a time.
anyway, just wanted to report in and let everyone know that if you've held out on the TT because of wondering about it ability to hang in a live situation or ability to do metal, don't worry. this thing is the SHIT.
