hi jack...I have 2 MOD 100's at blow out pricing. I also have a brand new MOD 50 no modules at blow out price!

This actually isn't a hi jack at all Jeff. I was just discussing how the MOD stuff is disappearing from this site!!

It's fun to look at what other amps are out there, but I still really enjoy my MOD 100. I'm not jumping ship yet. But when are we going to get some new modules and the E2 to put them in? After the new line is finished? Tourmaster, Rebel 20, Rebel 30, Renegade, Armagedden, Tweaker, Vengeance.............

I'm not sure if you're aware that Jeff is no longer a part of the Egnater Module line. You may need to direct your question to Bruce.

I haven't seen a post for a MOD 50/100 in months. What the hell happened to all the happy customers raving about the swiss army knife of amps?

I still do... :D

I would just rather play them than tell everyone how great they are. You know how it works around here. People get something new, rave about it for a while and then find something else that they like. I've owned a Mod amp since they were introduced and see no reasons to get rid of them--they work perfectly for me and I haven't played or heard anything that wows me.

Amen and +1. I have been gigging with mine since 07 and although I have others, and have owned many others, it is my favorite.

This is the real issue I believe. It's not Bruce, or the modular lineup, or the lack of new modules.
It's the fact that within a few months of each other Hilligan left and Ethan, Nick, and Eric bought PT100's and are on to the next.
Seriously, in the glory days of the Egnater forum for modular guys - those 4 guys accounted for more than 50% of the activity.
Not directly, but in starting posts, posting videos, modding the modules, talking about their gigs... they were fueling the fire that burned there for a good 6 months.

But, they're gone. Really, as soon as Jeff left, the air went out of the balloon for modular stuff on this forum. Perhaps that was the intent. Who knows.

Dude you hit the nail on the head! So true. While those are all great guys and ok players, none of them are going to influence my next gear purchase. The guitarists I truly admire don’t influence my next gear purchase. I’ve been playing for over 25 years and have owned so much gear and I have never been happier with any piece of equipment as I’ve been with my MOD50.

I agree 100%. The Mod50 allows me to change my tone as my taste or gigs change. If I get bored with my tone I can change tubes or modules and get a different sound. It's just a flat out fun amp to play.

To answer the last line, not my intent. Anything that has happened has been void of my involvment!

I can imagine that it has been quite frustrating though Jeff .
you were the one who was trying hard to get the 1u power amp .to get the the smaller one module head .the new higher gain mods .
It was obvious the Mod was your focus , it is too bad ..

wasn't meant to insinuate your intent, more Egnater's intent as a compnay. But it did sound that way after reading it back. Nothing but respect for you Jeff and Bruce as well. It's all guys making, tweaking, and talking about amps... which to me is a good thing.

I didnt sell my Egnater amps because I was jumping ship. I only sold them because I had a chance at an amp I have wanted before I ever got into Egnater. I think the Mod50/100 and M4 are top of the line and would own them again, Hell it seems now is the time to start buying them back....BUT being told there are some modules being worked on and due for release soon and the E2 for the past year and a half, and counting................. is frustrating when it does not happen.

Well guys, this may be true, but that's not why I'm concerned. I still have my MOD 100 and still think it sounds great no matter who raves about it. But I want more sounds and the E2. And I'd like to see Bruce still improving and supporting this line. To me it has nothing to do with Eric, Cubby, Buddy and whoever else you named.

Yep - I LOVE my modular stuff. Best gear I've ever owned. When my wife says I have nice, clear tone, that means something - TRUST me!

Each forum heats up when there is (a) gossip or (b) new gear. The Suhr forum was all about the PT100 about 4-6 months ago. Bogner 20th is the same. I won't even get into the Cameron forum. But when the "new" mystique dies down, so do the posts.

The reason it's quiet around here, just like muudrock said, is that there's nothing really new to talk about -- no big announcements have been made. But wait until that time comes and there will be a flurry of activity again. Plus, I always thought I hang around here too much and need to play more - 600 posts is a ton for me. I guess I keep holding out for Bruce to make a big announcement or something. Or perhaps we're more "players" rather than "chatters"...which can be a very good thing!

I've been caught up in the what's new what's hot of the month club as well.
My wife says I'm obsessed with Rig-Talk and that's true, I've always try to be proactive with this site because I really enjoy learning from all you guys.
Now I'll shut up and go play.

Egnater's Facebook page said that they are looking at an August/September release for Armageddon and Vengeance. That will get some chatter going!

When I was looking at new amps, I fell in love with the rockerverb 50 deluxe (combo amp)..but I just couldn't put out the $1500 they wanted for it. I can buy 3 of the amps i use now for that.

The modular line turned me from a "tone purist" to a tone junkie. MUST... HAVE... MORE! :D

I read thru this thread and no one asked an important counter-question:
Where is the E2 made? Or, where is the one space power amp made? These are two products that were advertised several years ago and the answer to the two questions? Nowhere. Who gives a f*** where Orange amps are made. Revitalize the modular line. We're on board!

Exactly!!! I don't care where (some) Vox's are made either. I bought a MOD series years ago and since then only two new modules have been made. EG5 (love it - thanks Hilly) SL2X (Thanks Eric & Hilly). Well - the SL2X really wasn't new. It's a modified SL2. So just one really. One new module and a promised E2. Redheaded stepchildren - all of us! LOL!!

Okay Bruce - you can chime in now.
