Pricing for the amp is $2400.00 USD.

Too bad that is not the case now.

Yeah but its not that a new "King Cameron CCV" cost so much more

its that the US Dollar buys so much less :gethim:

In 2007 gold was under $300 an ounce. , now its on the verge of trading at over $1400 an ounce.

IMO if you made a graph of the dollars deline in buying power btw May 2007 and Now - find the ratio of decline for that 4 year period and extrapulate that ratio over the next 4 years , theres a damn good chance that $3500 CCV will cost damn near $5K in the coming 4 years!!
Shirley Manson kicks such ass!!

V.

PS - this thread freaked the shit outta me - I saw the white tolexed rig and the "D" name and kinda went :scared:

Holy 4 year old post dredge up.;)

You should ask the guys who paid $2400 how it worked out for them. Lets see you could of sent $2400 back then and got nothing or pay the the price it should of been all along at $3299 now to get it built reliably and on time with no delays or excuses and a legit lifetime warranty.

There is a reason it didnt work before with the old model of Mark making the amps himself and always being broke. Their pricing and production model did not work.

Brad, I have no doubt you will make the amp "correct", on time, and available. I just have a hard time justifying the cost.

With actual production happening, I am sure I can pick a nice used one. :D

this whole cameron amp drama should be the easiest reason to buy a Diezel.

Having played the Cameron CCV's and Diezel's I'd say no thanks to a Diezel. Not in the same league IMHO.

Apples and Oranges. Totally different amps IMO

Cameron = Pissed off Marshall Goodness

Diezel = Modern God of Warfare.

Sure, but we had an Einstein last week along with a Cameron Modded JMP Jose Lg/Hg on a pair of 4x12's loaded with 65 watt celestions. After 15 minutes of trying to get the Einstein to sound decent we plugged in the Cameron and it was like the blanket came off the speakers, just smoked it. I guess that's what i like to hear. All IMHO.

Compare a new VH4 or a Herbert MK2 and you will be in the same league IMO. Both really cool and I bet they would sound killer blended together as they are so different. YMMV

I think that guy is a Diezel hater...which incidentally is perfectly fine by me...but thats what I think.

Danny has put up several killer Diezel clips in the past and from what I know is not a Diezel hater.

I can understand liking one model over another due to voicing and for me would love to own a Cameron mod and Herbert.

Danny, did you mess with deferent tubes in the Einstein?

when i got my Herbert it was loaded up with allmost all JJ preamp tubes and sounded so bad i'd have never bought it if i had tried it in a store. bunch of chinese preamp tubes made it way better.

I bought an Einstein and gave it a fair chance, i didn't like it, what can i tell you! I had a Herbert for 2 weeks and liked it but for the price tag it's not worth it IMHO since i can sound the same on amps that cost a lot less.

A great example is that guy Ola, Diezel guys love to post his Einstein clip. But listen to his other clips that sound extremely similiar or even better with cheaper amps.

how is this going to fare down on how doable or feasible would it be? would it going to end up like "hey i paied mine for like two years ago and now i am hoping my amps would arrive?"

Worked well for me. I'm the original owner of the third CCV-100. It's unfortunate that Mark struggled getting this line going, but glad to see that it's finally going to happen.

GUYS THIS THREAD IS FROM 4 YEARS AGO. PLEASE REFER TO THE CURRENT CAMERON AMP COMPANY AND PRODUCTS OFFERED BY BRAD, THIS IS NOT ACCURATE INFO.
