I have a set of pups from a Yamaha sg700 from the late 70’s or early 80’s. I have a set from my Greco Sykes from the 80’s. Are they anything special or worth anything? Or just probably some semi decent Japanese maxon pups but nothing special about them?

I don't know that I've ever seen a pickup with Philips head adjustable polepieces.

The Greco LPs from 79-83 or so could come with the fabled Dry Z which are PAF clones; and can go for 1K per pickup IF you can find one. By 1983 they started using the Dry 82s in the higher end Grecos. The lower end pickups were called Screamin 82s If I remember right. Before that, they were made by Maxon, and were either U1000 or U2000s.
I've had the Dry and Screaming 82s, and the U series. All are nice sounding pickups.
