You can see there is only a small piece of Dual Lock at each corner. It is so strong, I can lift the entire board off the ground by grabbing onto either of these pieces!

Same with the two silver, double-wide Diamond pedals (and black interface boxes under them) in this photo:

P.S. This board was made by forum member Casey Hanson (user name "Fallout-Labs"). It is not a DIY project!![]()

Dang. That stuff looks cool AND like you said, no dust, hair, etc to lose it's tackiness.rlord1974":zpheux2v said:Bob Savage":zpheux2v said:RLord, are you using 1" dual lock? I'm wondering if two strips of 1" across each of my 4" boards is enough to keep the pedals on securely?
Do you plan to change your pedal layout, or keep it the same?
If you plan to keep it the same, all you honestly need for a typical, single-width pedal (e.g., a Boss, Xotic BB, etc.) is a 1/2" squared piece in each of its four corners. That's it, seriously. It is super strong. Your wah might need three or four 2.5" lengths of 1" width tape, across the top, middle and bottom of its underside.
If you plan to constantly be changing your layout, what you have outlined would me more than enough.
About to do the same.Bob Savage":2jcln4tc said:Alright, I bought a 1" x 10' roll of the low profile dual lock... thanks for the tip rlord.

Cool. I actually emailed Casey and was waiting on an answer to your question, but I'm sure the low profile will work out just fine!
Make sure to post up some pics of that board when it's all wired up!
Thanks for this post as I was about to pull the trigger on the low profilerlord1974":1mhvxvog said:To avoid any confusion: you need the regular, not low profile Dual Lock for your pedals!
