I just don’t see drag queens as necessarily being sexual all the time. I think they can do “clean” performances just the same as any other type of performer. I don’t see it as “craving child audiences” I see it as them finally having enough acceptance to be able to do stuff in public and not be pushed into solely night clubs and bars anymore.
I don’t expect it to be everyone’s cup of tea but I don’t see it as sinister in any way either

I just have friends do drag stuff and they aren’t interested in children. They just want to perform for anyone and everyone.

How many shows have you been to? If Richard Pryor was the only comic you’ve ever heard of you’d raise an eyebrow at reading of a “children’s comedy hour” just the same.
