Peter! Is it possible to mod hagen(ch3)to VH4 spec(ch3)?

Why didnt you buy the VH4 in the first place? It seems like you really want a VH4 and you bought the Hagen instead. Havent you tried the amps before buying?

Hagen is a killer amp. Dont rush. Twist the eq and you can get some really good tones out of it. Then save up and buy a VH4 as well.

Why would you assume I haven't owned a VH4? I most certainly have, as well as the Hagen. Its a simple question really. Take a deep breath, it'll be alright

IMO, channels 1,2, and 4 on the Hagen best the VH4. Channel 3 on the VH4 is amazing. Just wish I could swap those channels out. Then call it whatever you want. Peter has spoken. Seems like its impossible. SO BE IT....

Hagen pre into vh4 power is ok. It still sounds like the Hagen to me but not as good as the Hagen by itself. It doesnt sound like the vh4. It's interesting to note that the Hagen preamp volumes seem lower comparatively dialed to the vh4's. I was playing around with a dual head setup with 1 cab, but ultimately each amp sounded best going to its own cab. YMMV
