Of course you can get any color you want ;)

The DS "Revolver" line is supposed to be a streamlined model but you still have plenty of options to choose from. I think the body mocks an Ibanez and for me that is a good thing since I am very comfortable on that body style.

The Revolver name I believe is changing due to another company using that name, Fernandes I think??

Someone local is coming to look at the RFR RG in one hour to buy it...I'm a little sad. But I don't play those shreddy, high output axes no more.

All praise the low output pickup!!!! AMEN!!

If I did not get that 20th anny 550 yours would already be at my house.

Too bad I didn't know back then that I would be selling it.
I like seeing stuff stay in the interweb family.

That GMW is ok but this RG565 is hotter than hell!! :inlove: :inlove: :inlove:

I'd love to get a RG550XX or a RG565 and get the fretboard scalloped.

I like it but I don't like the color.
I own a couple of GMWs (one of the "other" headstocks as well) and they are just incredible playing and sounding guitars.
I'm another one who just doesn't get the whole "headstock" envy thing.
Especially the guys who think the 'strathead" rules all.
I just don't get it.
I love my GMW's, If i could get Lee to make me a 7 string millenium he'd already have my money.

Ok, just spoke with Lee and here is the deal.......

This is a custom order with the DS body and the guitar went for $1450.

The Savant is going to be the production type guitar using the SS body, soloist style body, and will have very few options to make orders easy. The Savant will have a 3 piece AAA flame neck with your choice of fretboards and you can go with one bucker or with a single coil neck as well. Only Flody bridges as well.

For you dressy bessys out there the only inlay is the double diamond, if you do not want it you have to go to the custom order sheet.

The Savant will be around $1650.

Always cool talking guitars with Lee.

The neck is all dirty again after I cleaned it, it gets played everyday at some point.

Scalloped....man there is not much there to begin with :D We did that to one guys in the 80s and you could not gig with it, it just moved too much but we may have taken too much wood out as well

That might be true! :D

It wouldn't probably work out too well on the RG565 but on RG550XX there are two reinforcement pieces inside the neck so it should stay stable w. the scalloping too.

Jaakko,

That 565 neck has not moved since I got it from Adam, it must be the straight grain. I just cant scallope that one

The 550?? Maybe and then post it on Jem site, the guitar polishers and Extremely Rare crew would crap :D

Yes, Jemsiters would go mad if they saw that.

I love that body shape. It's called the Dinky Strat. I would guess that's why Lee calls that model the DS. It's not built to look like any Ibanez. It's the exact shape that Charvel originally used and then Jackson used for their early Dinky strat models. Later they changed the "Dinky" body to look just like a Soloist but this pink guitar is the original Dinky. That's my favorite body shape. It's the same shape that Suhr uses for their Standard and Anderson uses for their Drop Top. I think it's origins are from Schecter in the late 70's or early 80's which would explain why Charvel, Suhr and Anderson all use it.

This particular one I think is hideous though. Pink with gold hardware? Who ordered that thing Liberace?

LiberaceinHotPantssinglecopy.jpg

the only thing i like about that guitar is the ash other than that

Not all that bad

I don't like the zebra pickup and I hate gold hardware. The headstock is ok, and it looks like the neck is loaded with birdseye

Yeah after talking to Lee I got the Dinky connection.

I am wondering when someone is going to figure out that this body style can be had in any color they want

Ya...Craigslist is great (at least up here near Toronto)
Stuff sells for a fair price really quickly...no extra ebay/paypal/shipping/duty fees...and so far only 'normal' people have showed up.
