Planning Sweetwater Amp Fest, Fort Wayne, IN

So I've passed the first round of discussions and am trying to secure our presentation theater for sound isolation, video and audio recording reasons.

No guarantees but we could do a hi-def DVD. If so, we need to have everyone chip in to take care of the engineer running the rig.

We could also have the DVD available for those who aren't able to attend, any profits I'd like to donate to charity.

I want to extend an invite to Bruce and Hilly if they're open to coming down.

Thoughts?

Robert, email me some details on this. How much $$? To where/whom should it be paid? etc.

So round 2 is passed and now we have to get serious with the number of folks attending and how we'll organize.

Gene - Are we opening this to MTS, HRI or Gear Page forumites or is it exclusive to Rig-Talk?

I need to confirm with the engineer how to best handle the recording but he's on board.

If everyone is solid with 8/1 we'll get our multi-purpose room scheduled. The theater is not possible for use for a variety of reasons.

How many people will a multi-use room facilitate? I was DEFINITELY thinking HRI and MTS should get invites.

I'm guessing TGP would also be beneficial. Could it be possible to have too many people show up???

The room will take way more people than I think we want at this event. I hoped for 25, 30 at most. Otherwise it's a full day thing and we won't have time to check out all that folks bring.

We're a go for the date so announce away. Just keep me in the loop.
