I thought they were decent sounding for an affordable amp but the build quality made it something I thought was best avoided. I did the buy once, cry once method and got a PCB Marshall which was a Korg product at the time and built to very high standards by comparison.

They actually can be decent af . I enjoyed it , the bad part is a certain frequency in the highs that’s hard to get rid of .
 
Apparently the main difference in the red and blue was the endorsement deal.

Probably good a time as any to start a rumor EVH used one.
A little white electrical tape cleverly laid out on that red tolex and voila "this was one of Eddie's amps"

I didn’t think they were bad, I just put the treble to 0 and from there it was decent. I used a 60 watt one for a gig once, I had the volume maxxed, it was just loud enough.
