Yeah maybe between 4 and 5 months now that you say that. Payment made on feb 13, he originally told me the amp was done and just waiting on foot switch box on Apr 27. Went silent. May 23rd said he was working on mine in parallel with 23 other amplifiers. Went silent. June 4 said done at end of the next week for sure i should get the balance together for him. Went silent again. All he ever had to do was say hey I’ve been really busy can you give me 6 months and i wouldn’t have given it another thought. Not that i want to lose the money but at least i can afford to. I just don’t want anyone else to lose money on a deal with him. Maybe he intends to follow through maybe he’s going to be one of those guys who promise the world then skips out with the cash various people have sent. I have no idea and he isn’t communicating. At this point he’s just another guy i was trying to buy an amp from who is giving me the run around. I can’t imagine anyone buying an amp from someone and being ok with this…

When you order from a small company you should know that their build times are not accurate. Add a few months at least to that timeframe.

No excuse for poor communication, Mr contrarian. That 1 month of difference means nothing when the builder told the buyer his amp was DONE 2 months ago.
 
Is what it is at this point. I’m just assuming I’ll not get the amp or the cash. I only posted to give any other potential buyers a heads up. Maybe some people are cool with waiting forever and getting the run around, I’m not that person. I didn’t intend for my post to be anything other than a heads up for other potential purchasers. If i had seen a post like this before i ordered i wouldn’t have because i know i can’t deal with people like that. If other people don’t mind that’s cool. Everyone has their own thresholds…
 
Myasnikov has been the best custom builder I've dealt with.
Great communication even though English is his 2nd language.
Delivers when we says he will.

And here is the thing, I've dealt with Fortin, Cameron, Larry, Friedman, Mesa, Bogner... so, I at least have experience at dealing with them and feel comfortable to talk about their customer service.

Ok guys thanks for the words, advice, support. After escalating with PayPal this morning, Michael just messaged me and said he issued a refund. PayPal says it’s pending. I would rather have had the amp than the money, but it does at least seem he is following through with a resolution. He may have had every intention of getting it done at some point, i guess I’m just not built for dealing that way. I’ll update the opening post to reflect this and just say if someone does order just make sure you know going in, that it could be a longer process than anticipated.

Never said Larry or Cameron deliver their amps on time. But I'll say over and over again, Larry, Cameron and Wizards will walk all over your baby boys Fortin anything. Even the models he stole from Larry and Cameron.
By the end of the day, on time or late, I have two Larry amps right here with me. You on the other hand, haven't showed no amp or guitar at all. And you're in a gear forum.
